Lessons are held at
Driftwood, Feliskirk Lane, Marazion TR170HA
The house is situated with its own driveway on a private lane on the outskirts of the village. When approaching from Penzance, Feliskirk Lane is the first residential street to the left off the main road, opposite the main Marazion car park. It is just before the ‘Marazion Welcomes You’ stone and has an old phone box at the bottom which is a useful landmark.
The house is near the top of the lane and although the lane is narrow, it is a quiet cul de sac and there are plenty of driveways to use as passing places.
There is a bus stop at the bottom of the lane. Buses leave Penzance at twenty to the hour and on the hour and take 15 minutes. They return on the hour and at 15 past the hour. Allow at least 5 minutes to walk up the hill to the house – it’s quite steep if you’re rushing!
If driving, please park to the left in the driveway so as not to block other users. Please wait in your car in the driveway until 3 minutes before your lesson time to avoid disturbing any previous pupil. Just before your allotted time, please ring the bell and come straight in, the music room is to the right as you enter the house. We have a young Jack Russell called Minnie who is very friendly but barks a lot – please let me know if you would rather she was shut away.
Parents can either wait in the car or can come in to use the facilities or get a cup of coffee. If you would like to stay in the music room with your child for the first lesson or so, you are welcome.
