Marazion, near Penzance
From first notes to returning to the piano, learn with Alice in her home studio at Driftwood.

Music-reading, confidence and enjoyment are at the heart of Alice’s piano teaching.
Alice places particular importance on reading music and sight-reading. Lessons help you build these skills from the beginning, so you can enjoy exploring music as your playing develops.
Children are welcome from around age 6. A piano or keyboard at home is needed for practice, and some parental support is helpful for very young beginners. Parents are welcome to stay during the lesson.
You are welcome whether you are starting from your first notes, returning after time away or wanting to develop more advanced playing. There is no age limit, and lessons are shaped around you and your pace.
ABRSM piano exam preparation is available if you would like to work towards grades. Exams are optional: many pupils choose to learn purely for enjoyment in a pressure-free environment. Alice also offers music theory and aural tuition.
Getting started
Meet Alice, see the teaching room and talk through what you would like to learn before committing to lessons. The consultation is free, with no obligation.

Alice has been teaching my daughter how to play the piano for a number of years now and I cannot thank Alice enough for the difference she has made. My daughter has gained in confidence, whilst developing her ability to read music and a true love of music. Alice communicates clearly each week and has high expectations of her students - who absolutely thrive under her tuition. I would highly recommend Alice to anyone and only wish we had found her earlier! Thank you Alice 😊
